On July 15, the ceremony of the first stand of Stainless Steel Six-Hi Six-Tandem Rolling Mill Project was held at Ningbo Haoyang Steel Company. The whole project was undertaken by Wuxi Nanbao.

The main stand is the largest weight and size component of the 6-Hi Six Tandem rolling mill, and it is also the core component of the rolling mill equipment. The roll adjustment device is installed on the main stand. The single-piece housing weighs about 40 tons. After the company’s technicians conducted precise measurement, calculation and installation plan discussions in the early stage, two 20-ton overhead cranes and pole beams were lifted by two cranes. After smooth lifting, the archway stood firmly on the basis of the equipment. The hoisting was successfully completed at 9:18 am on the 15th.

In order to ensure the installation accuracy, the shim has been inspected, and the level accuracy of the base meets the installation requirementst.Yao Yunzhao, General Manager of Ningbo Haoyang New Materials Co., Ltd., and Wuxi Nanbao Machinery Project Manager attended the lifting ceremony.

The stainless steel six-hi six tandem rolling mill project is one of the few stainless steel finish rolling production lines nationwide so far.
